Online Music Done Right
Leave it to Apple to finally get the online music experience right. iTunes 4 and the new Music Store are an amazing combination.
I’ve waited a long time for an online resource to discover new music. The new Apple Music Store is heading in this direction: Pick a genre. See a bunch of bands. Sample some tracks. Buy some music. Simple.
Will this keep people from downloading music with LimeWire, Kazaa, Morpheus, etc.? Probably not. But for those of us who want to feel good about where we get our music, and don’t want to waste hours looking for songs and hoping that someone has it encoded correctly, the Apple Music Store is a perfect solution.
Plus, it isn’t available on the Pee Cee… yet. :)

Jango Fett: Open Seasons
This Jango Fett comic is excellent. It is divided up into four linked stories, each taking place in a different season (Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring) with the visual look of each story matches the season. Cool blues for Winter, bright greens for Spring, etc. The story gives a quick overview of how Jango Fett became Jango Fett. The only minor problem is that certain events do not tie in to the video game, but I guess it doesn’t really matter…

Quote of the Week
After I tag Tim 3 consecutive times in about 23 seconds in Red Faction, he goes:
Give monkey a chance!
Quote of the Day
As Jill and I sat at Fresh Choice enjoying our $5.99 coupon dinner, Jill tells me about her conversation with Leah about religion. She takes a bite of her salad and says:
…so I tell her… [pause] Waldorf Salad and Bacon Bits - bad combination!
Needless to say, I almost spit up my tuna tarragon.

Safariâ??What’s with the Tabs?
Yeah! Safari now has tabs! Excellent. The only minor complaint I have is the look of the tabs. They don’t quite make sense to me…

Shouldn’t the tabs be “attached” to the lower portion of the browser instead of the upper portion? The way they are now, the tabs appear to reveal a new Address Bar and Bookmarks Bar.
I guess this is what John Gruber was talking about when he critiqued some of Apple’s latest Safari user interface oddities.

Finished Bounty Hunter…Finally
Whoa… Those last few levels on Tatooine were a major pain…
Overall, I give this game a thumbs up. The gameplay was decent, the graphics and animation were excellent and the story (despite it’s major plot holes) sets the stage for the events of Episode II.
Now I can play Jedi Knight II!!!
